Tim is a co-founder and Senior electronics design engineer at TPI. Tim is credited as being one of the pioneers of audio amplifier technology, bringing about the use of high power transistors for audio applications.  He holds a patent many patents including on the horn loaded mid device so popular in todays dance music scene. 

Tim was a founding partner of ATC loudspeakers and Turbosound, who provided equipment for Judas Priest, Runaways, Rod Stewart, Steve Hillage, the Isle of White and Glastonbury Festivals among others. 

Tim built recording studios and monitors for Matrix Studios, where Gary Numan, XTC and Lee Scratch Perry all recorded seminal works, and spent time as Senior design engineer at Martin Audio and principal engineer for ATC.
