Crazy P bring their phenomenal live show to Leeds on May 4th with inner city electronic set to host a special one-off day-and-night as part of Leeds International Festival 2019. The event will take place at the L19 Village situated on the green of the iconic Tetley building in Leeds.
In anticipation of their forthcoming album ‘Age Of The Ego’, dance-music-national-treasures Crazy P bring what’s been dubbed as one of the best live dance music shows on the planet to the city for this unique event. Fusing slinky underground disco, deep electronic throbs and shimmering pop moments, this is dance music with a voice, a heart, and a soul.
Crazy P have been leaving their mark on the landscape of British dance music for the last 15 years. This is set to be their only Leeds (Live) show on a recently announced string of UK tour dates.
Alongside the only Leeds live show from Crazy P on their new album tour, the band will be joined by 20/20 Vision founder and longstanding Back To Basics resident Ralph Lawson, who signed the bands’ Stop Space Return album in 2008. Lawson will be bringing a rare loft party set, digging deep into a record collection spanning 30 years.
They’ll also be joined by a selection of the city’s finest selectors and rising talents, including master of alternative disco and oddball cosmic sound ‘Passport To Paradise’, Leeds based non-profit dance party, radio show, & DJ collective ‘Brudenell Groove’, the limb-flailing disco roadshow ‘Pleasure Connection’, ‘Reuben’, the longstanding resident to the infamous Leeds based club night Flux, and ‘Lovać & Wolffer’ from the newly formed Hyde House collective.
