Rising Digital is a group of like-minded individuals who decided early on that the corporate way isn't always 'the way'. The team love their records, arguably as much as they love their social media. So, what does Rising do? It does digital stuff for music people. Take that as you will. Eight years in, and it’s worked with every major record label, a whole bunch of indies and some of the most internationally successful artists and bands of the last decade.
James’ focus over recent years has been on developing the company’s European offer. To date he’s successfully implemented digital and social strategy for the likes of Sasha, worked alongside the Gorillaz team during their Plastic Beach campaign and Disclosure's 'Caracal' album campaign. This year has seen James project managing social and digital strategy for several Ultra Music and Sony International projects alongside digital management for Pendulum, Knife Party, The Black Madonna, Positiva, Octave One, Era Istrefi, Andy C, Alan Fitzpatrick, Paul Kalkbrenner and Steve Angello's SIZE Records.
As the company has now expanded into North America with a Santa Monica hub, James is now heading up the central head office in Leeds.
